Travel Hands is a charitable service designed to work exclusively for VIPsWTravel Hands app or the call centre, VIPs can easily book a trained Travel Hands Guide to travel with them on their daily journeys throughout London.

We empathise with the vulnerable state of VIPs while travelling; we work hard to provide a safer, more accessible travel environment. The Travel Hands App empowers VIPs to travel independently, whether it's for a doctor's appointment, attending a social event, or visiting a local park.

How to Book a Sighted Guide with Travel Hands?

It's easy to book a sighted guide with Travel Hands. See how you can book your guide below:

Download the App: Available on both iOS and Android platforms, simply search for "Travel Hands" and install the app.
Sign Up: Create a profile using your contact details, making it easy for guides to reach you.
Book Your Trip: Share your travel details in the Travel Hands app at least 48 hours before your travel time.
Match & Schedule: Our team will pair you with a DBS-verified Travel Hands Guide, and your journey will be planned together.
Pick Up & Walk: Your Travel Hands Guide will meet you at an agreed-upon location on the day of your journey. They will walk with you, enjoy pleasant conversation, and ensure that you reach your destination safely.

How to help VIPs as a Travel Hands?

It's easy to register as a sighted guide and qualify as a Travel Hands. See how you can get ready to help VIP below:

Download the App: Available on both iOS and Android platforms, simply search for "Travel Hands" and install the app.
Sign Up: Create a profile using your contact details and information required to vet your profile through enhanced DBS checks paid by us.
Training & Quiz: We have put together Travel Hands in a simple-to-read handbook, including video tutorials, expectations we may have from you and how current guidelines affect our service. Finish a short quiz to ensure you have gone through the handbook.
Share Availability: Share your availability anytime between 9 am to 9 pm on 7 days of the week.
Journey: Accept a journey request that suits your schedule and interest. The customer service is available to respond to your queries on call and chat.
